Shungites Long History
Deriving its name from the village of Shunga, shungite is a 2-billion-year-old stone found primarily in the Russian region of Karelia. It first appeared in the Russian chronicles of the 17th and 18th centuries.
Shungite has long been found to be beneficial as a energy protective stone commonly carried for personal protection, improved health, enhancing spiritual meditation, as well as was used in many ancient ceremonies. Formed from marine sediments enriched by the organic remains of ancient organisms shungite contains a high percentage of organic carbon. The main component of shungite is carbon C60. The reason that Shungite is believed to absorb and completely neutralize the dangerous frequencies from EMF is due to the fullerenes inside.
